Who we Are ?
Hi, we are Lukas & Tereza! Originally from the Czech Republic, we share a deep love for great coffee, cold beer, and endless traveling. After exploring over 20 countries across Europe, we decided it was time for a bigger adventure. That idea led us all the way to the heart of the Canadian Rockies, where we’ve settled down in the beautiful town of Canmore. Now, we’re exploring the beauty of the Canadian Rockies and other corners of Canada and North America.
We’re huge fans of camping—not just in the backcountry, but also with our trusty car, “Belous” (Whitey). He carries our home on his back in the form of a rooftop tent. So far, we’ve road-tripped through a huge part of Alberta, explored the wild corners of British Columbia, the Yukon, Alaska, and Vancouver Island. This is definitely just the beginning, and we can’t wait to see where the Canadian roads take us next!
Our hobbies also include hiking and backpacking across the Canadian Rockies, exploring the best hiking trails with our home on our backs. Backcountry camping in national parks brings us more than just adventure; it offers the peace of the wilderness, unique wildlife watching, and the most stunning sunrises and sunsets in remote spots far from the crowds.
